Belgium edged Senegal 3-2 in a sensational Round of 32 match at Seattle Stadium.

What a memorable victory.

Both teams played an absolutely impressive game. Each side made aggressive moves and created remarkable goal attempts. However, Senegal took the lead through Habib Diarra, who scored from a rebound off the post in the 24th minute. Belgium poured all their energy into equalizing, but Senegal doubled their lead early in the second half through Ismaïla Sarr’s brilliant goal. Senegal held a 2-0 lead with just 5 minutes of regulation time remaining.

In the 86th minute of the match, Romelu Lukaku scored the first goal for Belgium bringing his team back into the game. Belgium continued struggling and just three minutes later, they equalized the match at 2-2 through Youri Tielemans’ goal.

It was shocking for Senegal, and the match went into extra time.

In the extra time, both teams mounted pressure on each other and the match was going towards penalties. However, a penalty awarded to Belgium in the last minute changed the fate of Senegal. Youri Tielemans scored his second goal to win the game for his team.
