Canada, Brazil, Paraguay, and Morocco have qualified for the Round of 16. All of the opening matches were filled with drama and excitement.

Victories in the Last Minutes

•                                         In the first match, Canada beat South Africa 1–0, scoring the only goal of the game in the 92nd minute. It became the first team to enter into the next round.

•                                         In the second match, Brazil defeated Japan 2–1, scoring their final goal just seconds before the end of the game.

Upsets of the Tournament

•                                         Germany is out as Paraguay beat Germany in penalty shootout.

•                                         Morocco eliminated Netherlands in penalty shootout.
