Richmond County Bank Ballark

Richmond County Bank Ballpark (formerly Staten Island Baseball Stadium) is situated on the beautiful northeastern shore of Staten Island, New York City. This field is a home ground of Staten Island Yankees.  According to the historical evidence this symbol of community pride, Staten Island Baseball Stadium, was built in 2001. The stadium has classic aesthetics and state-of-the-art design and architecture. It has a capacity of more than seven thousands spectators, and its seating design offers a clear view of the field for all to provide an unforgettable experience. This modern stadium hosted inaugural match between the Staten Island Yankees and the Aberdeen IronBirds, minor league baseball teams; first one is affiliated with New York Yankees while the second one is affiliated with Baltimore Orioles.

In 2021, after 20 years, its name was changed to Staten Island Baseball Stadium from Richmond County Bank Ballpark. The stadium is designed to be fan-friendly, having comfortable seats, luxury boxes, sufficient parking, and green spaces. This atmosphere fosters a strong connection between the players and supporters. Moreover, its waterfront location and picturesque views add to the audience, locals and tourists, memorable experience. During games, we can enjoy a social atmosphere with variety of food and beverage, and can spend a great time with family and friends. There is a souvenir shop for fans to purchase a wide range of Staten Island Yankees merchandise.

 This baseball club was founded in 1999, and compete in the Class A Short-Season for New York-Penn League. It represents youth baseball and is considered a nursery of future Major League Baseball stars. Over the years, the club has become famous among community by developing a dedicated fan base. They support and pay tribute to players represent their community, and celebrate their success in Minor and Major Leagues. Similarly, the Staten Island Yankees participate in community activities and events organized for charity or social welfare. This is a bright face of the residents of Staten Island.
