FIFA World Cup 2026: USMNT Beats Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-0 to Reach Round of 16

The USA defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in the round of 32 at the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium. Match was absolutely sensational, full of excellent moves and aggressive attacks. US goalkeeper Matt Freese saved a beautiful inswinger, preventing Bosnia and Herzegovina from taking an early lead. 

Both teams poured all of their energy into winning the game.

The USA scored their first goal just before the end of first half through Folarin BALOGUN. 

The second half of the game began with renewed energy. Bosnia and Herzegovina fought for a comeback while the US continued their attacks to extend their lead. However, the US faced a major setback when Folarin Balogun was sent off with a red card. Despite the tough situation, the US team managed the pressure. They continued attacks and extended their lead through Malik Tillman, who scored in the 82nd minute of the game via a free kick just outside the penalty area.
