FIFA World Cup 2026: Mbappé Hits Two as France Defeats Sweden 3-0
France won against Sweden 3–0 in the Round of 32 at New York/New Jersey Stadium. France was in a dominant attacking position throughout the game, but the Swedish goalkeeper didn’t allow them to cross the goal line till 44 minutes of the game.
Mbappé scored the first goal for France in the last minute of the first half.
Then, Bradley BARCOLA doubled France’s lead just eight minutes into the second half. The French team continued their aggressive moves and goal attempts, providing no room for Sweden to come back into the match.
Kylian Mbappé scored his second goal in the 78th minute to make the final score 3–0.
He is now just one goal away from Lionel Messi’s World Cup record.
