Argentina defeated Switzerland 3-1 while England edged Norway in the quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup.

Argentina took an early lead in the 10th minute of the game through Alexis MAC ALLISTER. But Switzerland controlled the tempo and continued attacks to equalize the game.  In the first half, they failed and the teams went into the break at 1-0. However, in the second half, Switzerland scored a beautiful goal through Dan NDOYE, making an excellent move.

Meanwhile, just five minute later, Swiss player Breel EMBOLO was showed second yellow and sent off. Match ended 1-1 in the regulation time. In the extra time, Argentina continued attacks and regained the lead through Julian ALVAREZ. Switzerland poured their all energy for comeback but Lautaro MARTINEZ scored third goal for his team just before the final whistle.

In the second quarterfinal, England edged Norway 2-1 after a sensational game. Both teams played with an aggressive attack. In this match, Norway took the lead in the 36th minute through Andreas SCHJELDERUP, which was equalized by England through Jude BELLINGHAM  in the stoppage time of the first half(45+2′).

In the second half, both teams continued their aggressive moves and attacks, but no one found the back of the net, and the match ended 1-1 in regulation time. In extra time, England took the lead in just the third minute (93′) again through Jude BELLINGHAM, who scored on a rebound. Norway tried desperately to equalize, but England did not allow them to score and sealed the 2-1 victory.
