Canada defeated South Africa 1-0 in a World Cup knockout match in Los Angeles. What a sensational game it was. The only goal was scored in the 92nd minute, during stoppage time of the second half. While South Africa dominated possession, the Canadian attack was far more lethal. They made more attacking moves to take the lead, but the South African defense did not allow the ball to cross the line. The South African goalkeeper saved a number of headers and shots, keeping his team alive in the tournament.
