FIFA 2026: Eight More Teams Qualify For the Knockout Round of 32
Eight teams, USA, Australia, Germany, Ecuador, Cote d’Ivoire, Netherlands, Japan, and Sweden, from groups D, E, and F have qualified for the next knockout round of 32.
So far, 15 teams have secured their spots in the knockout Round of 32 from group A to F.
In the last group matches, USA and Germany lost their games against Türkiye and Ecuador. The most sensational game was played between Australia and Paraguay who fought to survive; Australia secured second place with 0-0 draw leaving Paraguay on the brink. Ecuador secured its place beating Germany 2-1 while Cote d’Ivoire defeated Curacao 2-0 to secure to charge into the next round.
In group F, Netherlands won their last game against Tunisia 3-1, and secured first place in the group. Meanwhile Japan and Sweden played 1-1 draw and both qualified for the next round.

Group E – Germany, Cote d’Ivoire, and Ecuador qualified – Curacao eliminated
Group F – Netherlands, Japan, and Sweden qualified – Tunisia eliminated
From Group A, B, and C
Group A – Mexico and South Africa qualified – Korea Republic on the brink – Czechia eliminated
Group B – Switzerland, Canada, and Bosnia and Herzegovina qualified – Qatar eliminated
Group C – Brazil and Morocco qualified – Scotland on the brink – Haiti eliminated
